It may come as a complete surprise to you all to discover that I like taking photographs….LOL! Truth be told, it is my way of capturing the magic and beauty of the world around me. There is so much I find inspiring about jumping in the car, going anywhere, getting out and just walking - albeit a city, a forest, a field, a lake - being somewhere and capturing the moment forever.
I have visited many blogs where people have set up regular photo projects. So I have decided to have a go at doing my own. I thought hard and long for a subject for the first month and came up with nothing…ooops, and then the penny dropped. As this is the first month, I am going to make my first theme based on “One”. So the idea is, by the end of January, to take a photograph that in some way, manner or form represents “One”. The post title will simply be “Photograph Challenge January 2008 – One”. As well as posting the photograph, I will also include a brief explanation of how the photograph relates to the theme (just in case it is not so obvious…lol!). The photograph doesn't need to be outside, it can be of somebody or of something around the home.... it just needs to represent the theme of the month.
So, here begins my new challenge. I also open this little challenge to any of you that would like to participate. It would be great to see your interpretation of the theme. If you do participate, then please leave a comment on my post including a link to your post (so that I and any other readers can enjoy your work). I will include a reminder of the guidelines on each of my monthly challenge posts.

ReplyDeleteif you really like photography and the city you live in, you might consider starting up your own citydailyphoto blog. I have one for Rotterdam.(www.rotterdamdailyphoto.blogspot.com,) This idea started about 2 yrs ago when Eric set up his'for Paris but there are city daily photoblogs all over the world now. We also do monthly themes and i must say; to post a photo daily is quite some work, so for your theme i will pass this month :(
