April Photography Challenge

"It's not what you photograph, it's how you photograph it" ~ Graham Ettridge

It's April 1st, which means that it is time for a new photography challenge!!!

So, now for the theme.....

...In trying to decide what theme to have for this month, I wanted to have one that was quite wide ranging (as I am so impressed with everybody's interpretations of the challenges so far). I also wanted to have a theme that really got the 'old grey matter' working at full speed. So my theme for this month is "The seven deadly sins".

For those of you that can not remember specifically what the seven deadly sins are, then please read below:

1) Pride
2) Envy
3) Gluttony
4) Lust
5) Anger
6) Greed
7) Sloth

Oh bugger! I have just described myself in 7 words (oops!...lol!)

So, to make this a bit more fun and challenging, you are welcome to post more than one photograph as long as each one represents a different sin.

Guidelines

Just to recap, the guidelines for the challenge are as follows:

1) Take a photograph that in some way, manner or form represents any one of “The Seven Deadly Sins”. The post title will simply be “Photography Challenge April 2008 – The Seven Deadly Sins”. Please be welcome to post more than one photograph - however, please remember that each one should represent a differnt sin.

2) Include a brief explanation of how the photograph(s) relate to the theme. The photograph doesn't need to be outside, it can be of somebody or of something around the home.... it just needs to represent the theme of the month.

3) When you have posted your challenge, be sure to send me a link so that I can include it on my "April Challenge Entry" post at the end of the month!

4) You want to join in with the challenge but don't have a blog or website to display your photograph on? No problem, just email me copy of the image, along with your name and a brief description of how the photograph(s) relate to the theme. I will then include your entry on my "April Challenge Entry" post at the end of the month!!!

!!Happy Photography!!

  13. I finished the challenge - although I used WRATH instead of Anger. I'm not familiar with anger as the terminolgy although it is basically the same thing. :) Very challenging!
