8 Songs That I Could Listen to Over and Over

The video above didn't fall into my 'list of 8', but I couldn't resist posting it anyway. It is one of the most amazing gatheringing of legendry artists - Leonard Cohen and U2 singing Cohen's mesmorising "The Tower Of Song". Has there ever been a more memorable team-up?

Now for the list:

1. No Woman No Cry – Bob Marley and the Wailers

2. A Man's World - James Brown

3. A Thousand Kisses Deep – Leonard Cohen. Honestly, any song by this legendry artist is worthy of being on my list, but I could only include one. If I can pass one piece of advice onto you all it would be to open your mind to the work of Leonard Cohen.

4. I Put a spell on you – Nina Simone

8. How to carve a pumpkin lantern

8 People Who Should Do This Meme

I'm going to have to fail on this one. A few of the people I would have selected for this Meme have already completed the tag or have just been tagged. Therefore I open this one up to the floor. I welcome anybody to take on this meme.

For anybody who does choose to take on the challenge, please let me know so that I can come and visit and read your lists.

Many thanks and have a happy weekend!!

Yet another great meme from you, Graham! I'll have to tackle this one.

Btw, I LOVE the theatre! I go to plays all the time.

And a pumpkin lantern? That is so funny. I've never heard it called anything but a jack-o-lantern.

I hope you have a great night!

Hey, I wanna do it ! Looks fun.

We have quite a few taste/goals in common. But Riyanna ?? Seriously, this umbrella song is getting on my nerve ! Graham, I hate to say it but... you're wrong.

Oh what? I'm not your friend anymore? :D

Thanks tish, going to the theatre is so enjoyable. I have just booked some tickets to see Christian Slater and Helen Baxendale (the English girl from the series 'Friends') in a play during December. I have booked a hotel in Covent Garden in London. I am quite excited because London is magical during the Christmas festive season. I'll be sure to add a post about it..lol!

Zhu!, I can't wait to read your lists. Rihanna...LOL! I kinda agree with you - it does drive one crazy. I had to add at least one lively song to the list (I realised that the others were quite meloncholy). I must be honest though, I do find myself listening to it over and over again. However I am sure that the novelty will wear off soon.

So, using the great art of negotiation and compromise, I would say that I am totally RIGHT at this moment (as always..lol!), but things may change in the very near future!!!!!

Best wishes ~ Graham

ps. You'll always be my friend..lol! (just don''t forget, I am ALWAYS RIGHT...LMAO!!!!!)

What goes up must come down? I assume you mean yourself off a mountain?
BUMP, BUMPITY, BUMP, BUMP!
NEE, NAW, NEE, NAW, NEE, NAW!

Don't mean to make fun but if you go up another mountain, STAY AWAY FROM THE EDGE!!!!!

Sugar is better than salt on cereal!!!! How on earth did you find that one out? Go on, tell me how you managed to put salt on your cereal instead of sugar, har, har, har!

Real good meme.

:)

What goes up certainly did come down, and then back up and down again in the helicopter. Lol, yes it was a reference to my fall.

I do try to stay away from the edge, but when the path is only about 3 inches wide, the edge becomes rather close on both sides. Perhaps in future, I will crawl along on my tummy.

And yes, you guessed it... a few mornings ago I was rushing to go to work and put salt on my cereal rather than sugar - the problem is I had a mouthful of it before I realised... YUK! YUK! YUK! I can still taste it now, several days later. I suppose another thing I was taught that day, was to get up a bit bloody earlier.... LMAO!!
