"It's not what you photograph, it's how you photograph it" ~ Graham Ettridge
Yes I know, we are half way through August already. Going on holiday is a wonderful thing, and gives you ample time to relax and recharge. However, as soon as you come home, you realise that everything else was still going on and you have heaps to catch up with. One of those things is the monthly photography challenge. As we are fast running out of time I thought that it would be a great to try and somehow capture time in an image, to hold onto it forever. Therefore my theme for this month is "Time".
Guidelines
Just to recap, the guidelines for the challenge are as follows:
1) Take a photograph that in some way, manner or form represents the theme of "Time". You are welcome to use your artistic touch to manipulate the photograph using a photopackage such as photoshop. Be as creative as you desire!!! You are even welcome to sumbit a video clip, if that is your preferred media.
2) Include a brief explanation of how the photograph(s) relate to the theme. The photograph doesn't need to be outside, it can be of somebody or of something around the home.... it just needs to represent the theme of the month.
3) When you have posted your challenge, be sure to send me a link so that I can include it on my "August Challenge Entry" post at the end of the month!
4) You want to join in with the challenge but don't have a blog or website to display your photograph on? No problem, either:
a)Just email me copy of the image, along with your name and a brief description of how the photograph(s) relate to the theme. I will then include your entry on my "July Challenge Entry" post at the end of the month!!!
b)Join up to a photo storage site like www.flickr.com and upload your photograph, then leave a link to the photograph in the comments box on this post.
!!Happy Photography!!

Can't wait! I did manage to skate in late on the July challenge. I have a few ideas on this one, i'll see what works out
Graham,
This was an awesome idea for a challenge and one that was so fitting in my life right now. I posted it to my blog at http://kimberleekreations.blogspot.com/ I am not that proud of the photography here, but got so excited about the content that I was proud of the combination of the two.
Thank you again for your kind comment on my blog. I greatly appreciate your inspiration and wisdom as a fellow nomad living with wander lust. LOL.
Creatively,
Kimberly Miller
I will see what I can come up with. I need an idea as I am feeling a little uncreative at the moment. If I can't think of anything I do have an older photo I can use.
Hi,
cool blog, i posted an entry on my blog, http://truenomads.blogspot.com/, its the first picture in the entry "ancient buddhas". I thought this picture spoke of time in both the eroded hill, and the old stone ruins.
keep up the good work,
Thanks, Cooper
I always say that I am going to join in, then I flake out......
We'll see what the rest of the month brings ;)
What a fun challenge! I might have to give it a go...
I'm back to blogging again! I can't wait to hear more about your travels and photography.
