I heard yesterday that it was going to be foggy this morning. So I set my alarm for 6am. As the sun rose this morning, I was wandering through my favourite forest at Savernake. I will save all the details of the lovely morning, but needless to say, I captured some nice photographs. The trees are just about to turn into their Autumn colours of rich organges and browns. I thought this would be quite fitting for a sepia experiment. Below is the result of my trials:
It is a first attempt, I clearly still need to practice with this technique. Thanks Chica, this has inspired me to have a go at this type of effect more often.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Chica and to Jessica from Wayfaring Wanderer for their helpful techniques and guidance. I am still very much a novice with photo editing, and your tips and examples are a great source of inspiration.

What a fabulous frame, and you should defo continue with it. It gives it that little something extra that sometimes photos need, in order to "pop". Hope your having a great weekend. :)

love the framing! and the photo, but the border is making me want to start playing with some photos.
Now that's something special. I love sepia but it can be a very difficult filter to use, sometimes it just doesn't work on a piece. I love how it makes a photograph look aged or even something out of a memory. We need to go on our little walks more often!
