"It's not what you photograph, it's how you photograph it" ~ Graham Ettridge
Hurray! Time for a new challenge! Thank you to all of you that contacted me with suggestions for new themes. Please keep the suggestions coming in, and I'll be sure to incorporate them into future challenges. This month I'd like to use an idea put forward by Kimberly from Kimberly Kreations. Her suggested theme is to photograph a favourite time of the day / favourite moment in a day.
Guidelines
Just to recap, the guidelines for the challenge are as follows:
1) Take a photograph that in some way, manner or form represents the theme of "Today". You are welcome to use your artistic touch to manipulate the photograph using a photopackage such as photoshop. Be as creative as you desire!!! You are even welcome to sumbit a video clip, if that is your preferred media.
2) Include a brief explanation of how the photograph(s) relate to the theme. The photograph doesn't need to be outside, it can be of somebody or of something around the home.... it just needs to represent the theme of the month.
3) When you have posted your challenge, be sure to send me a link so that I can include it on my "September Challenge Entry" post at the end of the month!
4) You want to join in with the challenge but don't have a blog or website to display your photograph on?

I'm so inspired by this one!
...
On the other side, I took about 1,000 pictures in China, so I'd better be :D
Oh my friend, I know my favourite time of day with out even having to think. Now how do I want to represent it…… You’ll just have to wait until the end of the month.
I'm flattered and excited that you would use this theme. I have so many ideas and can't wait to get started. Love the possible incorporation of video. I'm off (always have been *grin*) and getting right on it.
Peace and Light (tungsten, cloudy, fluorescent, sun - LOL)
Kimberly
you always have the best ideas.
Oh and your quote "It's not what you photograph, it's how you photograph it"
reminds me of why I write
Its not the story you tell its HOW you tell the story!
This blog is very well put together so congrats! Your pictures and stories are amazing, I love coming back to this blog. On a side note I thought I would pass along some knowledge, I came across a new website called baraaza.com
Its a neat site and I think you'll like it. So check it out and tell me what you think. Until next time keep taking awesome pics!

Now this has me thinking.
I just posted my September challenge. I really love participating in these as they combine my two favorite things - photography and writing.
Best to all,
Kimberly

Have a great week!
Michelle
ok mr graham, i'm curious to see what you've come up with. It's almost time for the reveal!
Here's an idea for a future challenge, whenever. A silloette. I can't spell the word but you know what i mean. ;-) could be a silloette of anything.
"A silhouette is a view of some object or scene consisting of the outline and a featureless interior, with the silhouette usually being black"
